What else the Warlock has - Curses! One is a DoT (Curse of Agony), the others are useful in specific situations.

Curse of Recklessness is the anti-Fear and prevents runners. Curse of Elements - especially now after 2.4.3 - causes the target to be more susceptible to Arcane, Shadow, Fire, and Frost damage. Overall party / raid dps will probably increase with the lock using CoE over CoA, especially with mages, boomkin, & elemental shaman in the mix.

Curse of Tongues slows down casters, while Curse of Weakness reduces the mob's melee damage.

I'd also mention that the 'lock has 3 different Fear abilities - regular, Howl of Terror, and Deathcoil. That's a lot of fearing, lol.

Alas, I have to disagree, the best plan is often to spend hard and fast.

When levelling the best investment you can get is a full set of new gear every 5-8 levels, cuts down the kill time and increases your survival rate, in other words it increases your money / hr ratio. At higher levels this is less important due to dungeon gear, however again its best to get the cash and go for the big upgrades rather than taking the cheaper incremental options because when geared, money is easy, when not geared, it takes effort to gather.

As a protection paladin you reach the point you can grind the Temple of Karabor and then you have money for free essentially, the same happens to other classes where they reach a gear point where they can farm without requiring a profession easily. The manipulation and saving of money, is almost irrelevant until you reach a gear level you are happy at, and at that point saving for a high level of gear or toys is easy because the non-raid end-game is designed for fresh level 70s through to Kara level basically, being horribly well geared lets you blitz through even instances for cash (a typical botanica run will net 6 Large Prismatic shards and 1-2 Void crystals, Shattered Halls 5 Void Crystals, 1-2 Void Crystals and some primals). The ability to turn gear into cash makes the game economy far more complex than merely saving and suchlike, because its the equivalent to your Ferrari increasing your salary by 20% simply because you can go faster, its a mechanic I dont' normally hear related to in real world economics.

Hunters and rogues should never get Salvation in preference to Kings and Might, and for hunters add Wisdom to that list.

Sacrifice, Justice and Freedom are 30s blessings, and have limited uses, freedom is typically kept for the tank and sacrifice is quite useful in high damage situations on classes, or to break a stun. However none of these should typically be used over the 3-4 main blessings for a class, consider sacrifice to be a potential blessing when sanctuary would be used, but only on the MT, helps keep your mana up as well and will reduce the damage he takes by ~ 100, rather than sanctuaries maybe 80.

Flash of light spam can basically be kept up for the duration of a fight by a holy or protection paladin, its that mana efficient, healing ~1.5k with +2k healing bonus. Holy Light is also a relatively fast cast however cannot be maintained as a spam spell for long periods of time. Holy shock is situational as its range is much shorter than the other 2 spells (20yards vs 40), and so the paladin must be within range (often hard). Lay on hands should not be considered a heal so much as an emergency response, its on a 1hr cooldown and drains you mana, its a "do or wipe" button normally to buy time.
