Well, I finally got into Kara yesterday. I was supposed to go on Thursday night, but our main tank didn’t show (it was his birthday this week and he drew some serious aggro from friends and family his friends and family took him out around town).

I feel like I’m squishier than I should be, but I have as much health as one of our main hunters. Attumen took me out in two hits after he got loose from our pally tank. I got off to a rough start, certainly. We managed to get all the way through the Opera Event though, which is pretty good since our second Kara group has been getting stuck at Maiden the past couple of weeks they’ve run. Our event was Big Bad Wolf, and I was the first to be turned into little Red, and I got stuck in the door frame and died. They got him down in one try anyway.
I got my Violet Signet and Moroes dropped the Idol of the Avian Heart. I’m excited about having Kara stuff, but wish that it would be stuff I could really use. For now I’ll keep on wearing Harold’s Rejuvenating Broach, and hope that the next time I run Shadow Labyrinth Ambassador Hellmaw drops Idol of the Emerald Queen.
